Community Pool

We're all in this together.

Nathan Hanson and Brian Roessler have been musical partners for more than sixteen years. In that time they have developed a unique musical sympathy and symbiosis. As a duo they create music that is at turns lyrical, bombastic, and ethereally expansive - accessible to the curious, while being challenging to the performers and listeners. In addition to their duo work they have performed with many different individuals and ensembles including Didier Petit, Douglas Ewart, Carei Thomas, Alden Ikeda, Chris Thomson, Peter Leggett, Fly Manifesto, and Fantastic Merlins.

In addition to performances they are available for educational workshops on the topics of woodwind and string technique, improvisational concepts and practices, and composition in an improvisational context.
